Visionary Grit is a marketing analytics service. We connect the social media and advertising accounts that our clients already own, read the performance data from those accounts, and present it back to them as reports. We do not sell data and we do not build advertising audiences from it.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to people who authorize a connection to Visionary Grit — typically a business owner or their authorized staff connecting their own brand account.
2. What we collect from TikTok
When you connect your TikTok account through TikTok Login Kit, you grant us specific permissions and we receive only what those permissions cover:

We never receive your TikTok password, your direct messages, your private drafts, your contacts, your payment information, or the content of any account you have not explicitly connected.
We never post, comment, message, follow, delete, or modify anything on your TikTok account. Our access is read-only.
3. What else we collect
- Basic account information you give us directly: name, business name, email address.
- Standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, browser type) kept for security.
- Data from other platforms you choose to connect, such as Meta, Google Analytics, or email tools.
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking on this website.
4. How we use it
Only to produce and deliver analytics and reports to the account owner who authorized the connection, to keep those connections working, and to secure the service. We do not sell personal data, share it with data brokers, or use it to train third-party AI models.
5. Who we share it with
- Service providers that host and run the platform, under contract and only to provide the
service.
- Your own team members that you authorize.
- Legal authorities, only where required by law.
6. How long we keep it
We keep connected-account data while the connection is active and for up to 12 months after you disconnect, so historical reporting stays intact. After that it is deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
7. Your choices and rights
- Revoke access at any time — in the TikTok app: *Profile → Settings and privacy → Security and
permissions → Manage app permissions*, then remove Visionary Grit. Access stops immediately.
- Request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing
[email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
- If you are in a jurisdiction with additional rights (such as the EEA, UK, or California), those
rights apply and the same email address is the way to exercise them.
8. Security
Credentials and access tokens are stored encrypted, access is limited to the personnel who need it, and every connection is scoped to read-only permissions.
9. Children
The service is for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes
If we make a material change we will update the effective date above and, where required, notify connected account holders by email.
